I've been trying to track down the perfect tech kit bag for our trip. My existing CCS bag is fantastic but it might as well have a glowing "steal me" sign on it. The most likely candidates would seem to be Crumpler's range of kit bags.

Crumpler bags have a discreet messenger bag look but have a padded interior and tough fabric exterior, all designed to protect tech kit. Since I ideally want a bag that will take a small laptop, the 10D and a spare lens I initially thought I needed the top-of-the-range December Quarter.

I was proved wrong. It's HUGE! Just look at the photos - the beer bottle is purely there for scale you understand. It's a cool bag but way too chunky for taking round the world. I'm going to take a look at the much more modestly sized "Next Venue" and will post more info when I get my hands on one.
